WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO MEET AAFCO STANDARDS?
The AAFCO is a non-profit organization that studies animal nutrition and publishes nutrient profiles for a variety of animal foods. Having these standards helps you determine which American dog food companies are providing a quality product for your pet so they can stay happy and healthy.

Good news! Your search is over! Our Titan Red and Titan Blue complete dog foods meet the nutritional profiles established by the AAFCO. We are always looking to improve the food your pet is eating so we keep up with current standards and do our best to not only meet them, but exceed them.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
It means that you can feed either Titan Red or Titan Blue and be confident that your dog's nutritional needs are being fully met without any other supplements or foods.
IF THE TITAN RED AND TITAN BLUE ARE COMPLETE, WHY DO YOU STILL OFFER SUPPLEMENTAL PRODUCTS?
Good question! There are other benefits from our supplemental foods. Even though a lot of people consume a balanced diet they still take multivitamins. It is the same principle. Our course ground tripe adds nutrients that dogs would struggle to get from other avenues and our course ground salmon provides omega-3 fatty acids that keep your dog's skin healthy and their coat shiny.
ABOUT PETE'S MEATS
This all started with a passion for dogs. Specifically, my dogs. I believe that they deserve the best care I can provide and that led me to investigating what my dogs were eating. I researched three different companies before finding Titan dog food. Because my dogs are English Mastiffs I go through a lot of food really quick. My first order with them was 500lbs. At first I was a little nervous because that is a lot of dog food, but I was so impressed by the quality of the food, the service I received, and the price they gave me that quickly I realized that I wanted to help make raw feeding more accessible.
A lot of owners are unsure of where to start when considering raw feeding. There is a lot of information to sort through and it can be hard to find a reliable food source that is within driving distance. My goal is to educate owners about raw feeding and to provide a safe source of food for owners. The first part includes sharing all the research I have reviewed on the topic. This is under my "About Raw Feeding" page. The second part resulted in this company. I began to provide food locally to a wide range of customers in south Florida in 2012.
Since then I have realized there are a lot of people that still don't have access to top quality raw food for their dogs. Many of these owners are too far away from me to be able to come and pick it up orders. As a result, I have developed a method of shipping that allows my food to be shipped across several states while still staying frozen.
I am dedicated to the health and well being of my dogs. They get the best of the best. So, let me help you give the same to your dog.
SHIPPING
6 ITEM ORDER MINIMUM
Because shipping costs I am unable to ship food orders less than 6 rolls or 30lbs. Each roll is equivalent to 5lbs of raw food. As such, food rolls are sold per box as bundles. There are custom bundles available if you would like to mix and match.
ORDER TRACKING
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. In a separate email you will be sent a tracking number when your order ships. If you do not receive either of these emails when expected please give me a call. The delivery driver will be instructed to leave the package at your door. The food will be packaged in an insulated cardboard box with dry ice inside it along with the food. It should remain frozen during transit. Please place your food in a freezer as soon as it arrives at your house.
FOOD CO-OP ORDERS
I do offer orders for co-ops. These orders are filled as product becomes available from my supplier. Due to shipping costs, these orders must contain a minimum of 1500lbs of food. Shipping for these orders is currently available for Florida. If you are interested in a food co-op order please call or email me.
SHIPPING REGIONS
Currently we only ship to areas that can be reached through UPS Ground within 2 days. This includes FL, GA, AL, SC, NC, VA, TN, KY, WV and MS. Orders are only shipped out on Wednesdays. Because of this, we advise placing your order when you have at least two weeks of food left. This is to ensure that you have enough for your dog to last until we can ship your food. It is estimated to take 7-10 days from the time you place your order to the time it is at your door. We want to get your dog their food as fast as possible, but sometimes things do happen (severe weather, etc.) and orders can be delayed. If you have any questions or concerns about your order or this process please give us a call.
Pick-up Orders
If you are local to south Florida and want to place a pick-up order please call or email. During the week we will usually get back to you within 24hrs. However, calls or emails sent over the weekend may take longer, but will be responded to by Monday. We want to work with you however we can so pick-up orders are available by appointment and do not have size minimums. If you have any questions please give us a call and we will do our best to help.
